This project will include asphalt pavement resurfacing of a portion of Buckley Road from the Morgan Road intersection to the intersection with Henry Clay Boulevard in the Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York. The total project length is 0.95 miles. In addition, select areas of the existing shoulders will be repaired. The project will also include: cleaning and repairs to the existing roadside drainage system, repairs to the existing flush concrete medians at each intersection, updates to the traffic signal equipment at the Morgan Road intersection, new pavement markings over the resurfaced roadway and improvements to the roadway signage and existing guide railing system as necessary. Construction is anticipated to begin and be completed in 2018.
No Property Acquisitions will be needed for this project.
Pedestrian and bicycle access will be maintained along Buckley Road during construction.
Vehicular traffic will be maintained on Buckley Road at all times for the construction project. At certain times during construction, traffic will be controlled by construction flaggers that will alternate the direction of traffic that can proceed around the work area while the other direction of traffic is stopped. Driveways will be accessible during the construction period.
Total project cost: $1,090,000.
This is a Federally Funded, Locally Administered, Federal Aid Project. Anticipated Funding sources are 80% Federal, 15% State, and 5% County.

Construction Completion: Anticipated October 2018
